1: Procurement Officer

  • Job Type: Fixed Term
  • Bachelor (BA) or Degree in Logistics, Operations or any other areas from a recognised university/college that can bring an added value to the post.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant logistic experience (including, Logistics and Supplies management) preferably in an international NGO.
  • Good knowledge and experience of procurement and purchasing
  • Able to work with little supervision and use initiative to a good degree

2: Logistics Officer

  • Bachelor (BA) or Degree from a recognized university/college in Logistics, Operations or any other areas that can bring an added value to the post.
  • Relevant logistic experience of 4-5 years (including, Asset management and control and property and security services) for BA holders or 5-7 years for Diploma holders, preferably in an international NGO like Oxfam.
  • Good comprehension of security issues and clarity on reporting on them.
  • Good personal communication skills, in written and verbal English.
  • Ability to adjust to constantly changing situations while maintaining focus on delivery and follow-through

3: Gender Officer

  • Location: Ethiopia – Mekelle

  • Job Type: Fixed Term
  • University graduate in the field of social sciences, development studies, community development, gender and development or other related fields.
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in handling gender context in humanitarian and development organization
  • In-depth experience in commitment to a rights-based approach, gender equality and women’s rights
  • Demonstrated experience working on gender issues as well as working with the communities in humanitarian and early recovery contexts
  • Proven skill in collecting and analysing information using participatory research and assessment methodologies with a gender lens
  • Strong communication skills with good levels of spoken and written Tigrigna, Amharic &English.
  • Good understanding of advocacy, gender, protection, safeguarding and IDP issues including some basic human rights, IDP rights and land and housing rights and related issues. Committed to a rights-based approach
