Vacancy Details

  • Position Title: – Junior Application Developer
  • VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT No. 003– 2021/22
  • Job Grade: –     05
  • Duty Station: – Addis Ababa/Head Office
  • Availability: – As soon as possibleREQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • BSc Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information System or other related field.
  • 6 months IT related experience.
  • Gathers and refines user requirements from business users, contributes to and assists in the design of corporate business applications, and produces requirements and designs documents;
  • Develops application logic using programming language and unit tests the application by strictly adheres to software development life cycle process and method;
  • Fixes application bugs, maintains existing applications, and gives application support as directed by the division manager;
  • Proactively communicate progress, issues and risks on assigned tasks;
  • Contributes during JAD session and software design stage;
  • Participate in minor code development as directed by the division manager;
  • Administers and manages ETL, ensures that the data warehouse system is running smoothly without problem, and provide technical support on data warehouse system;
  • Participate in the design, development and maintenance of data dissemination software
  • Produce software documentations and learn key components of the software;
  • Generate various reports as required;
  • Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
