Eligibility Criteria for USA Fulbright Degree Program:
For the Masters Degree program, a four-year Bachelor’s degree or a Bachelor’s and Master’s combination totaling 16 years of formal education from an accredited university.
Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply, except for MBA and Public Policy/Administration applicants, who require 2 years of work experience.
For the PhD degree program, a Master’s, M.Phil or comparable degree (a minimum of 18 years of formal education) from an accredited university.
It is highly desirable that candidates have work experience in teaching, research, or the public sector in Pakistan.
For both the Masters and Ph.D. programs, all academic disciplines are eligible, except clinical medicine.
The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is required for all applicants. Under the new scoring system, minimum scores of 138 in the verbal and 136 in the quantitative sections are required.
Applicants must also possess a high level of fluency in spoken and written English. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) will be required from all the selected candidates.

The Organisation of Southern Cooperation (OSC) is pleased to announce the 2nd annual OSC-GCUB Scholarship, which once again provides up to 400 postgraduate scholarship benefits to students from eligible OSC Member and Founding States. This initiative, developed in collaboration with the International Cooperation Group of Brazilian Universities (GCUB), aligns with the OSC’s commitment to promoting international academic mobility and South-South cooperation as a means to break down barriers, build bridges between different cultures and communities through education, and give individuals the tools to become agents of change.
Scholarship Details:
Scholarships apply to a wide range of Master’s and Doctoral programmes at renowned Brazilian universities.
Applicants must be in good physical and mental health.
Individuals from any country that has diplomatic relations with Brazil.
Brazilian citizens are not eligible.
Please note: Citizens of the Republic of Sudan may also become eligible for the OSC-GCUB Scholarship, subject to the written notification of the OSC to GCUB after 4th July 2025.
Scholarship Benefits:
Subject to the availability of funds, the OSC will provide selected candidates from eligible OSC Founding and Member States a one-time allowance of USD $750, disbursed in Brazilian currency after arrival in Brazil, to reimburse expenses such as airfare, visa processing, international medical insurance, and other personal expenses not covered by GCUB’s associated universities. Should additional funds become available at the time of disbursement, the allowance may be increased accordingly.
The selected candidates will be exempted from paying enrollment fees, tuition, or academic fees at the host university, related to the study program for which they were selected. Additionally, the universities will fund monthly scholarships (stipends) and provide access to classes, classrooms, libraries, laboratories, and other university services.

This unique, year-long fellowship invites emerging and established scholars, practitioners, and human rights leaders to join an intellectual community dedicated to advancing human rights through research, scholarship, and practice.

The Racial Justice Program focuses on reimagining systems, institutions, and movements to promote racial and economic equity for all. We seek to attract a diverse group of fellows from different disciplines and sectors (academia, business, technology, civil society, human rights organizations, public interest technologists, and independent researchers and practitioners) who would like to design and develop a research project salient to their own expertise and the research priorities of the Center.
The Carr Center’s Technology and Human Rights Fellowship is a key initiative exploring how technological progress will shape the future of human life and impact human rights protections.
