  • In the final year of family medicine specialty training OR
  • Up to ten years after completing family medicine specialty training OR
  • At least three years and up to ten years of employment in family medicine/general practice settings (for nations lacking specialty or comparable vocational training as outlined in Article 41 of Council Directive 93/16/EEC and the Directive 2005/36/EC);
  • A member of WONCA Europe’s full national member organization.

For the mentors:

  • A minimum of ten years of experience in general practice or family medicine;
  • At least ten years of global experience in the fields of general practice organization, family medicine, policy, leadership, and networking;
  • Must ready to assist participating physicians by evaluating and appraising their work and offering suggestions, counsel, and encouragement;
  • Cannot serve on the Scholarship Committee;
