World Bank Young Professionals Program 2025 for International Students: Applications are invited for the World Bank Young Professionals Program 2025 in United States. It is an exceptional opportunity for young people to launch their professional careers in a global organization. The USA is the host country of this fully funded program having a duration of 2 years

The Africa region of the World Bank Group (WBG) has opened the application period for the 2025 WBG Africa Fellowship Program for Ph.D. candidates and recent Ph.D. graduates who are Sub-Saharan Africa nationals. Women are especially encouraged to apply.

Through the fellowship, we aim to build the capacity of the next generation of African change makers in development research, policymaking and promote the goals of reducing poverty in the region.

Financial Benefits:

A 5-year term contract with the WBG YPP includes a fair wage and benefits package. Benefits include

Eligibility Criteria:

  • This program is for international students.
  • The applicant should have a Masters’ or doctoral degree.
  • The candidate’s birthdate must be later than October 1, 1992.
  • The candidate should have excellence in his respective area.
  • The candidate should complete a suitable master’s degree by 1 September 2025 or a PhD before September 2024 for placement with the World Bank and MIGA.
  • The research areas should have been connected to a MIGA or World Bank business area.
  • The applicant should complete a graduate degree in a relevant field by 1 September 2025 for IFC. A Master’s in Business Administration (or equivalent), Economics, Finance, International Relations, or Science are only a few examples of academic disciplines that should be relevant to an IFC Business Area.
