
World Bank WBG Pioneers Internship 2026 (Paid Global Internship for Students) WBG Pioneers is the World Bank Group’s premier internship program, offering undergraduate and postgraduate students structured learning and practical experience.
As a participant, you will engage in impactful projects, contribute to meaningful work, and gain direct exposure to the mission and operations of the World Bank Group.
World Bank internship gives students the chance to work with the World Bank Group on real projects that support global development. Interns can join teams in Washington, D.C., country offices, or work in hybrid and remote roles, depending on the position. Opportunities are available in many fields, including economics, finance, engineering, public policy, communications, human resources, environment, health, and technology.
The World Bank Internship helps students gain practical experience while learning from experts. Participants receive mentorship, develop professional skills, and understand how the World Bank Group works to solve global challenges. The program offers paid internship positions as well as selected no-fee internship opportunities for eligible students. Applicants can apply for up to three internship positions during each application cycle.
