Position 1: Maintenance Controller
Skills, Experience & Education:
First Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or related field of studies with a minimum of 3 years of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Supervisory experience will be a plus
The position is structured to report to the respective Unit Manager and is responsible for ensuring that the line is always available for production and then produces at the rated speed and perfect quality with minimal waste through optimum maintenance execution.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Partaking in the development of the asset care plan for the packaging plant, contributing suggestions, and providing expert advice.
Support the implementation of the asset care plan for the Packaging plant, ensuring the MASs, PAs, and operational teams have the required technical competencies to execute the plan.
Ensure the execution of maintenance / extended maintenance work
Evaluate the impact of new plant and equipment, and recommend changes.
Lead the MAS’s team in a manner that engenders ownership, empowerment, and team interaction.
Ensure that the team members apply proper safety and housekeeping procedures, and adhere to all legal requirements when carrying out their tasks.
Ensure all statutory and mandatory checks are part of the asset care management system and are performed and all documentation is completed and recorded.
Ensure that health, safety, and housekeeping receive appropriate focus through regular checks and audits, with appropriate monthly/quarterly meetings.

Position 2: Workshop Controller
Skills, Experience & Education: First Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years experience in a workshop environment.
Supervisory experience will be a plus.
The position is structured to report to the respective Unit Manager and is responsible for ensuring that the workshop delivers support to the manufacturing operation in regards to manufactured spares, component repairs, supporting labor on maintenance/shutdown activities, project support, welding services, centralized lubrication store and also the refurbishment of rotable spares.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure housekeeping to WCM standards
Do tool inspections on a monthly frequency.
Schedule the workshop activities according to priorities and availability.
Arrange outsourced work for spares refurbishment when required (e.g. gear cutting)
Support Maintenance & shutdown activities
Inspect quality of work done in support of maintenance activities
Review and approve Innovation and improvements from Teams
Review and action Attendance of Teams
Ensure effective application of the Manufacturing Way in all Areas of control
