- Bachelor Degree or above in Social Science, Statistics, Project Management, M & E or other related fields.
- A Minimum of three years of related work experience on monitoring and evaluation
- Previous experience in refugee and humanitarian context with International NGOs, UN agencies, line ministries and/or local authorities in humanitarian settings
- Demonstrated experience translating log frames and results frameworks into monitoring plans, developing data collection tools and protocols, leading data collection and management process, designing and managing databases, and analyzing data.
- Proven technical skills in monitoring and evaluation and experience with both qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis.
- Excellent analytical, presentation, and report writing skills.
- Experience using software applications such as Excel, Access, or statistics software such as SPSS, STATA.
- Previous experience with electronic or mobile data collection.
- Experience in developing databases for project and programmatic data tracking
- Experience in participatory assessment and community-based monitoring approaches
- Experience with capacity building of national staff, and in convening and facilitating trainings and workshops
- Excellent analytical and report writing skills – fluency and capacity to write in English and Amharic is required
- Knowledge of local language Nuer or/and Anyuaa language (spoken) will be an asset.
- Cultural sensitivity, and commitment and understanding of the values of DRC. Good communication skills.
- Commitment to learning and implementing organizational policies and procedures
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- EDUCATION: University degree in statistics, economics, social sciences or related discipline
