  • International students must fulfill UVA’s English language standards; however, there is no IELTS requirement for scholarships.
  • The scholarship is awarded on the basis of merit rather than need. The primary criteria used to evaluate an applicant’s leadership, scholarship, and active citizenship.
  • No minimum GPA, percentage, or class rank requirements are made public. The lack of a set cut-off, however, makes the honor challenging academically. Typically, successful nominees are among the best pupils in their respective schools.
