WE-Action and co-applicant Institute for Sustainable Development (ISD) are implementing a project named Rural Women Cultivating Change in East Africa funded by Seedchange. East Africa is negatively impacted by climate change, food insecurity, patriarchal norms and practices, and high rates of SGBV that severely limit women’s household and community leadership roles in agriculture. In response to these realities and needs, the Project will strengthen leadership of smallholder farm women and their participation in decision-making processes, including women’s and farmers’ rights and climate adaptation, and enhance benefits for rural women in climate resilient and local food systems. It will focus on investments that improve women’s access and control over productive resources (land, capital, inputs, and infrastructure) and promote agro ecological approaches to achieving food security and improved livelihoods.

1: Protection Coordinator
- Position: Protection Coordinator
- Duty Station: based in: Oromia Region, Nekemit town, with regularly travels to different sites within the target area.
- Salary: As per the organization’s scale
- Number of positions: One (1)
- Duration: for one year & possibility extends based on performance evaluation result and availability of budget
- MA/MBA/BA in Social Work, Psychology, and Women’s /Gender studies or Related Field.
- Minimum 2 years for MA/MBA or 5years BA/BSc experience working in GBV prevention, response, and/or protection Programs, preferably in conflict affected or humanitarian settings.
- Work Experience’s in NGOs will be preferred.
- Key skills and competency required The Protection Coordinator requires demonstration of the following competence:
- Program Management: Understand program quality, knowledge management and M and E program design and implementation.

- Position: GBV Case Officers
- Duty Station: based at each respective Woreda center (Amuru, Jarte,Jardega, Horo Buluk,Kiramu, Gida Ayana and Sasiga ) Horo Guduru and East Wolega Zone, Oromia Region,
- Salary: As per the organization’s scale
- Number of positions: 6 (Six)
- Required Applicant: Female only
- Duration: : for one year & possibility extends based on performance evaluation result and availability of budget
- BA/BSC in social work related field (Social work, Psychology, counseling ) or related field
- Minimum 3 years of direct experiences in providing GBV response and case management services, preferably in humanitarian or development context.

- Educational Qualification and Experience
- BA in Accounting, Finance or related Field

- A proven skill with computer based financial reporting is a must.
- NGO work experience preferableRequired Skills:
- Peachtree software application skill is preferable
- Good knowledge of Excel application skill is mandatory
