13th TULIP Summer School 2025 for International Students: Applications are invited to apply for the 13th TULIP International Summer School 2025 in France. All International students can apply for this fully funded international summer school in France. Applicants who want to attend this 7-day summer school in France on a fully funded scholarship are urged to apply. IELTS is not required for this fully funded summer school, and there is no application fee.

The 13th TULIP Summer School 2025 in France is a fully funded international summer school situated in the European mountain range known as the Pyrenees. All nationals from all nations are welcome to attend the French summer school. LabEx TULIP is hosting the 13th TULIP Summer School from June 21–27, 2025. Students pursuing master’s, doctoral, and post-doctoral degrees are eligible to enroll in the program. The Summer School admits 25 applicants annually. This summer school’s goal is to concentrate on “Biological Interactions from Genes to Ecosystems.” Germ, a stunning alpine location in the French Pyrenees, is the location of the Summer School.

From June 21 to June 27, 2025, the 13th session of the international TULIP Summer School “Biological Interactions from genes to Ecosystems” will be held in Germ in the French Pyrenees. LabEx TULIP is in charge of organizing this summer school. Summer school is conducted entirely in English. The Summer School program covers all facets of interactions between organisms, from the molecular level to the eco-evolutionary scale of interactions within populations and communities. It consists of plenary lectures and a workshop for the development of  scientific projects at the intersection of our disciplines.

Financial Benefits:

13th TULIP International Summer School 2025 in France is available to international applicants worldwide. It will cover:

  • Every participant will have access to lodging and meals. There is no registration cost.
  • TULIP arranges and finances travel from Toulouse to the Pyrenees.
  • Local produce is mostly used to cook meals, and vegetarian options are also offered.
  • There are bed linens available.
  • Within the venue’s capacity, individuals with limited mobility can attend the event.
  • Note:
    • TULIP does not pay travel expenses to and from Toulouse.
    • Scholarships are not available from us to help with these expenses.
    • Since the summer school is a training-related business trip, you can apply for several mobility grants or ask your institution or laboratory to pay for it.

Program Topics:

  • Plenary Lectures: A variety of topics about biological interactions are covered in the Summer School program’s plenary lectures.
  • Workshop for  Scientific Project Creation: The goal of a workshop is to create scientific projects that connect many fields.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the 13th TULIP International Summer School 2025 in France, applicants must follow the following eligibility criteria:

  • All nationals are eligible to attend the summer school in France.
  • The Summer School is open to:
    • Doctoral students (~15 places)
    • Master’s students (~5)
    • Post-doctoral researchers (~5)
  • Candidates must be:
    • Currently enrolled in an ecology or biology master’s program.
    • actively work in research is being conducted.
    • Engaged in postdoctoral research.
  • Validity of Passports for Non-EU Students: Passports must be valid through October 2025 at the latest.
  • The event is conducted entirely in English.
  • The IELTS is not necessary for the 13th TULIP International summer school.

  2. Notification of the chosen applicants will be sent in early to mid-April.

    • Get to know the senior and junior researchers from the research units in Toulouse, Moulis, and Perpignan.
