Eligibility Criteria
The MESPOM Scholarship is open to all countries.
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in related fields such as environmental sciences, policy or management, natural or social sciences, engineering, or management.
Candidates from other fields can also apply if they show commitment to environmental challenges, usually through voluntary or professional work.
Proficiency in English.
MESPOM applications for the 2026-2028 study period are open. As in previous years, CEU in Vienna will receive and process the applications on behalf of the consortium.
All MESPOM applications should be made through the Central European University’s online application system in accordance with CEU Admission Requirements and with respect to the MESPOM-specific eligibility requirements and application procedure.

How Students can get admission Germany without IELTS?
German government has let the universities to decided that whether they need IELTS or TOEFL test to study in different degree programs. Now, the universities has decided to which programs need English Proficiency. Hence, most of the universities has lifted the English Language Test requirement for their degree programs.
In the light of these decisions students can get admission in these universities without IELTS. Universities that offering admission without IELTS wants from you to provide an English Proficiency certificate or Medium of Instruction (MOI) by the time of your admission. Students can get this certificate from their previous institute which certifies that the medium of Degree was in English.
